Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using https://plezanje.zanrutar.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Service Overview

• Browse Mode (no account) - view crags, sectors, routes, grades, route lengths, popularity.
• Log Mode (account required) - select a route from our list and record that you have climbed it, with date, ascent type (selected from our list) and rating (1-5).

3. Eligibility & Registration

• Must be ≥ 16 years old (or minimum age in your EU country).
• To log climbs, you register with a valid email and choose a secure password (stored encrypted).

4. User Content & License

• User Content - the climb-log entries you submit.
• You retain ownership of your User Content linked to your account.
• By submitting User Content, you grant me a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and manage it to operate the Site.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or third-party rights.
• Upload malicious code (viruses, malware, injection scripts, etc.)
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Site or other accounts.
• Scrape, crawl, spider, or mine any non-public pages or data except via provided APIs or interfaces.
• Share your login credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Use the Site for commercial purposes (resale, sublicensing, or bulk data extraction) without my prior written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site or its underlying code.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt Site operation (e.g. DDoS, flooding, spamming).
• Use this Site to harass, abuse, defame, threaten, or harm others in any way.
• Create multiple user accounts.
• Submit false or misleading ascent data (e.g. “fake” ascents), including but not limited to for the purpose of inflating or deflating the popularity or ratings of any route.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

You may:

• Browse all crags, sectors and routes freely without an account.
• Register a single free user account to log and manage your ascents.
• Select any route from the database and record your ascent details (date, type, tries, rating).
• View, edit, or delete your own logged ascents at any time.
• Use search and filtering features to find routes by grade, location, name, etc.
• Update your profile details (first name, email, password).
• Access the Site securely over HTTPS on desktop or mobile browsers.
• Contact support via the provided email for help or feedback.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Site is governed by the Privacy Policy at https://plezanje.zanrutar.com/privacy.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind - express or implied. I disclaim all warranties, including uptime, accuracy, and fitness for purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

9. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings. Upon deletion, all your personal account information is permanently removed, and any links between your user account and your logged ascents are terminated - leaving only fully anonymized ascent records.
• I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose security risks. In such cases, your personal account data and any linking to your ascents will be handled as described above.

10. Change to Terms

I may revise these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will indicate the revision. For material changes, I’ll notify registered users by email.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
